The Telecommunications team provides comprehensive support to clients for all telecommunications services at the University of Toronto.

Since joining Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) group on October 1, 2015, the Telecom group has been charged with making the transition from traditional Bell Centrex phone lines to an IP-based telephony solution (VoIP) in order to provide better service and reduce costs.  The group also ensures that the VoIP solution integrates with the many online collaboration and unified communications tools already in use at the University.
